The following documentation must accompany this application:

• Original and a photocopy of passport or travel document whose validity extends beyond the extension being requested.
• Accreditation of the reasons justifying the request which must be extraordinary in the case of entry without visa.
• Original and a photocopy of adequate proof that the person has sufficient means by which to live for the extension period requested.
• Original and photocopy of travel insurance with the same coverage required for a visa application covering a period of time equal to or greater than that of the extension period requested.
• Documentation justifying guarantee of return to the country of origin or, if relevant, of admission to a third destination state prior to the ending date of the extension requested. The presentation of a ticket acquired in the name of the petitioner with a closed return date prior to the ending date of the extension requested would serve as proof of the said circumstance.
